Mansfield Family Hikes
Join Mansfield Youth Services this summer on Tuesday afternoons (July 6 - August 17) starting at 1pm to hike your own back yard and do some fun nature-inspired activities!
Please pre-register for each hike your family plans to join us for using the individual eventbrite links in the table below so we know who to expect and how to reach you to cancel in case of poor weather.
We request that an adult accompany youth throughout the hike and are sure to carry water, snacks, inhalers, and epi-pens required by their households. Bug repellent and sunscreen are highly recommended!

We will follow guidance from the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood (OEC), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the Eastern Highlands Health District regarding the use of masks and update accordingly.
The current guidance does not require masks to be worn outside but families are welcome to mask if they so choose. We ask that everyone be courteous to other hikers about respecting personal space requests and will defer to parents and guardians to remind their youth about what levels of distance they should be maintaining.
Households who experience COVID-19 symptoms will be asked to refrain from attending hikes until a negative COVID-19 test has been received, OR 10 days have passed since symptoms started with no symptoms in the 24 hours before returning.
Households that test positive for COVID-19 will be asked to refrain from attending hikes for a minimum of 10 days with no symptoms in the 24 hours before returning.
Households identified as a close contact to a case of COVID-19 will be asked to refrain from attending hikes for the quarantine period recommended by the EHHD.
