Classification

The Human Resources Department is responsible for maintaining the Town's classification plan, which is a listing of approved job titles.  Job classifications for all full- and part-time benefited positions are approved by the Town's Personnel Committee. Job classifications for non-benefited positions are approved administratively through the Human Resources Department.


Classification Plans

Below are summaries of the Town's current classification plans for regularly classified positions:

Master Classification Plan: This document contains all classifications non-represented and represented classifications.

Classification Plan - CSEA - DPW: This document contains classifications for positions represented by the DPW - CSEA union.

Classification Plan - CSEA - Professional / Technical: This document contains classifications for positions represented by the Professional / Technical - CSEA union.

Classification Plan - IAFF: This document contains classifications for positions represented by the IAFF union.

Classification Plan - Non-Union: This document contains classifications for positions not represented by a bargaining unit.
