Town of Mansfield Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled

MemorialDay

Due to the public health threat from COVID-19, the 2020 Town of Mansfield Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled.

Our first priority is the health and safety of participants and spectators who attend the parade annually. With the CDC’s recommendation to limit public gatherings into the month of May and the uncertainty beyond, we feel it is important to make this difficult decision at this time.

An alternative to attending a live parade this year is viewing a virtual event either on national television or through a streaming channel. One such program is a pre-recorded television special presented by the American Veterans Center titled, “The National Memorial Day Parade: America Stands Tall” that will be broadcast on television stations nationwide on Memorial Day at 2:00PM. The event will also be streamed live on YouTube. For more information about the event, please visit the American Veterans Center website.

Links to other virtual Memorial Day events can be found on the Military.Com website.
