June 21, 2018 – The Town of Mansfield and the Mansfield Downtown Partnership invite residents and visitors to get out and explore Mansfield this summer! Looking for inspiration? Visit mansfieldct.gov/summer for information about events, activities, and attractions for summer fun for all ages and interests.
From arts to animals, books to bowling, puppets to paddleboards, there is no shortage of fun things to do in Mansfield this summer! On mansfieldct.gov/summer, visitors will find information on events and activities just for kids – such as the “Krafting for Kiddos” program at the Mansfield Community Center and Storyteller Valerie Tutson at the Mansfield Public Library – as well as adults. Take part in the Library’s Adult Summer Reading Program, enjoy live music at the Partnership’s Summer Concerts on the Square, or savor a lunch made with locally-sourced foods at the Mansfield Senior and Wellness Center (open to adults age 55 and up).
Don’t let a little rain ruin your day: There are plenty of fun things to do inside, too! Lucky Strikes Lanes is one of only four duckpin bowling locations in the state, and Quester’s Way offers hands-on, active play in their indoor park. UConn’s Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry and the William Benton Museum of Art are two, free indoor options offering world-class art exhibits (donations are welcome).
The events, activities, and attractions listed on mansfieldct.gov/summer include both free options and some that require registration, fees, or tickets. Please consult each hosting agency or business for more information about their respective offerings.
