UCONN's Hawley Armory Opening as a Mass Vaccine Site on March 29
UConn Health in partnership with UConn Storrs is standing up a mass vaccination clinic for the general public on the Storrs campus. The clinic located in Hawley Armory is opening its doors on Monday March 29th.
Appointments are OPEN NOW. Any eligible person seeking to schedule an appointment for the UConn Storrs clinic can do so in two ways:
1) Follow this link to create an account and schedule online: https://mychart.uconn.edu/mychart/Signup

2) Call the UConn Health vaccine scheduling line at 860-679-5589
Access to Hawley Armory from Rte. 195 in Storrs is clearly marked.
This new site is in addition to weekly clinics posted to VAMS and hosted by the Eastern Highlands Health District, which will continue.
The State of Connecticut has announced that access to vaccines will be rolled out based on age eligibility. Starting April 1, all residents 16 years old and above are eligible for vaccines.
When you are eligible for a vaccine, there are several scheduling options:
Call the State of Connecticut's COVID Vaccine Appointment Assist Line at 877-918-2224, 7 days a week with expanded hours 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM to schedule an appointment.
If you are a veteran, please contact the Veterans Administration about receiving your vaccine. The VA is hosting walk-in clinics with no advance appointment required.
- VAMS is the Vaccine Administration Management System – an online scheduling portal hosted by the State Department of Public Health that allows individuals with an email address and access to a computer to create an account, log-in, and search for a vaccine clinic near them. After you register with VAMS you can access many providers’ vaccine scheduling systems
- Schedule a vaccination directly through a participating health provider.
- UConn Health: Now offering a mass vaccine clinic at Hawley Armory in Storrs, and at other locations in the state.
- Hartford Healthcare: Several locations across the state, including at Windham Hospital in Willimantic and at large clinics in the Hartford area. Contact: 860.827.7690
- Trinity Health of New England. Several locations across the state, including Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs and St. Francis Hospital in Hartford.
- Yale New Haven Health: Several locations across the state, including large clinics in the New Haven area Contact: 1.833.275.9644
- Stamford Health: Operating a clinic 7 days per week at Stamford Hospital
- Walgreens: 12 vaccine locations across the state
- CVS: Four locations including Colchester, Putnam, Waterford, and Windsor Locks
- Walmart: Seven locations across the state, including Hartford, New Haven, North Windham, Norwalk, Torrington, Waterbury, and West HavenInformation from the State of Connecticut about vaccination scheduling options.
