An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe

"The skies they were ashen and sober;
      The leaves they were crispéd and sere—
      The leaves they were withering and sere;
It was night in the lonesome October..."*

...when we gathered at the Mansfield Public Library for a spellbinding one-man performance by Campbell Harmon bringing the master of the macabre to life.

Flyer promoting Halloween Ninja Maze on Oct 31, 2025

5th Annual Halloween Ninja Maze

While you're dressed up and out trick-or-treating, stop by your local dojo for their 5th Annual Halloween Ninja Maze! You'll have expertly-trained martial arts instructors to lead you through the maze, while teaching you beginner martial arts techniques such as the Horse Stance, Front Punch, Front Kick, and finishing with a Duck & Jump game!

At the end of the maze, you earn your very own goodie bag to take home!

The maze opens at 4:30 PM, and the last call will be at 6:30 PM. The whole maze takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.

The maze is designed for ages 5-12. Younger participants may go through with a parent/guardian, and older participants are always welcome for a little Halloween Ninja fun!

Register here.

P.S. For a $10 donation, you can earn your very own PINK belt in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! All proceeds will go to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.

Monster Ball

  • Friday, Oct. 31
  • 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • at the Adventure Park at Storrs  (2007 Storrs Road, Storrs)
  • For 18+
  • Tickets required; purchase yours here

Leave the candy hunting to the kiddos - this Monster Ball is strictly for grown-up ghouls (18+)!

Fly through the night on ziplines like a bat with a caffeine addiction, tackle climbing challenges that’ll make your legs tremble (in a good way), and howl at the moon until 11:00 PM, because bedtime is overrated.

The team at Adventure Park will crank up the music, flip on the lights, and keep the Halloween vibes spooktacularly adult. Think less “pumpkin patch” and more “pumpkin spice with a side of chaos.”

This event is for adult climbers 18+ only.
